Elha might be a tiny little girl but she's got one of the biggest voices you could ever hope to hear in your entire life. In the video below she manages to perfectly sing the classic song "You'll Never Walk Alone," from our favorite Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Carousel.
Little Elha might seem a bit nervous at first, but as she walks down the stairs it becomes obvious that she's in her element; that this beautiful little singer was meant for the stage. Not only does she manage to hit all the right notes, all while sounding like a young Whitney Houston, but she manages to keep the correct emotional element that the song deserves. This little girl really understands what she's singing, even though she's so young!
But talent aside, it's Elha's story that makes things even more incredible. She comes from a very poor background and actually had to sell fruits at her local market just to make ends meet. She recently had lost her father and had been struggling to greive. With her heavy work schedule, this 11-year-old girl was not on a good future path. But that all changed when she was given a tiny little chance.
In a blind audition for The Voice Kids, this little girl showed that, though a bit rough around the edges, with the right practice her voice could be the next big thing. And after months of competition and rehearsal she finally managed to win The Voice Kids in a stunning victory that people will be talking about for years to come.
As you watch her amazing performance below just realize that a few months earlier she was in a street market selling food in order to help her mom keep the house. What an incredible "rags to riches" story!
