Luiz is only a toddler, but he already has wisdom way beyond his age! When his mom told him to eat the calamari she had prepared for him, Luiz asked if the octopus still had a head. His mom replied no, because he had been chopped up so people could eat him. Luiz's little brain starts churning and he wonders why anyone would want to eat an animal, because that would mean the animal would have to die first.
Luiz's plea to let all animals live is one of the sweetest, most heart-melting things I've seen in a long time. His reasoning is so sweet, it almost makes you want to do exactly what he says and never eat another animal again! He even brings his mom to tears with his touching words!
