Military Dad Organizes An Emotional Homecoming For His Three Children

For the children of men and women in the military, it must be extremely difficult to be away from their parent for an extended amount of time. Most of us are able to call or even see our parents as we please, but these kids must wait to finally feel their embrace.

Chief Warrant Officer Ryan Beargeon's three kids haven't seen him in about a year. But a month before coming home, he and his wife decided to organize a little surprise for them — one they would surely never forget! Together, they concocted a clever plan and the three youngsters never suspected a thing.

That day, Mom took her three children to an Iowa Cubs' baseball game. When they stepped onto the field, they were treated to a special sight: their dad was on the big screen! They thought they were speaking to him via Skype, but it was only a recording that was being played on the jumbotron.

That's when their soldier dad snuck up behind them and surprised them! Needless to say, the kids wept and hugged their dad, who will have an entire month on leave to spend with his family!

Please SHARE if a serviceman or woman is planning their surprise homecoming sometime soon!
