Tiger Woods and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, came together to celebrate their 15-year-old son's win. Charlie Woods' high school in North Palm Beach, Florida, won the golf state championship title in November 2023 and the team members were recently presented their golf rings in a ceremony.
In photos of the event, Tiger and Elin are both seen beaming widely at their son and exchanging hugs with him. This is the fourth time that Charlie's school, The Benjamin School, has claimed the state title. It also comes at a time where the teen is venturing out into the golf world on his own.
In February 2024, the teen came up a little short to qualify for the PGA Tour. That came after he failed to advance in the 2024 Cognizant Classic tournament at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
In the November tournament, Charlie shot a 78-76 over two days while playing with his teammates at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida. The teen got the fourth best score of his five-strong team. His father was cheering him on from the crowd.
