When it comes to popping the question, it’s no wonder that men worldwide get a little bit nervous.
After all, asking the woman you love to spend the rest of her life with you isn’t exactly a low-pressure scenario! When the stakes are that high, it helps to have a plan.
Perhaps that’s the reason that would-be grooms are coming up with more and more elaborate strategies for proposing these days, ranging from involved dance routines to — on at least one occasion — a handmade film detailing the couple’s shared experiences.
There’s nothing wrong with flowers and champagne, but we’ll admit, our hearts skip a beat for men who fill this big moment with special details of everything that the couple holds dear.
One newly engaged gentleman took this idea a step further when he decided to propose to the mother of his child — with help from their sweet toddler!
Check out the adorable moment unfolding in the gallery below!

When Joshua Womble decided it was time to ask Sade Robinson to be his wife, he knew that he wanted to make the moment perfect.
The couple, who have been together for three years, share so much history together, and he wanted to make sure his proposal reflected their special relationship.
Fortunately, he knew just the man to help him pull off the big moment in a perfect way — their toddler son, Christian!

When little Christian arrived two years ago, he turned the sweet couple into an adorable little family of three!
Womble knew that having their little boy take part in the proposal would make the moment particularly beautiful for his lovely fiance-to-be.
As an added bonus, Christian also provided the perfect cover story to help Dad make the proposal a complete surprise — they would stage the proposal during Christian's second birthday party.

Little Christian celebrated his second birthday in style, complete with a delicious cake and a lot of love from his family.
But after Christian was properly pampered, Womble planned to continue the party with a new reason to celebrate!
He talked to his mom and arranged a small family party for Christian at her house; Robinson was in on the plan to go over for the party, but didn't know that he had a surprise in store for her.

Once they arrived at Grandma's house, Womble's mother handed her grandson a pretty silver gift to open.
The whole family gathered around to watch Christian unwrap the present, but Robinson had no idea the box was really intended for her.
Fortunately, Christian was in on the plan from the beginning, and knew that the little velvet box hidden under all the tissue paper wasn't actually for him.

He handed the box over to Dad just as planned — pretty smooth for a toddler — and happily watched as Womble got down on one knee to ask Robinson to marry him.
According to Buzzfeed, she "had no idea" what was coming, and was completely floored by the surprise.
In tears, she immediately said yes, totally overwhelmed by the beautiful moment that her husband-to-be had arranged, with an assist from their darling little boy.

Womble's plan was in the works for months, as he saved up for the perfect ring and pondered how to ask the question just right.
At the end of the day, all of the credit for the planning goes to him, but people on the Internet are still pretty impressed with Christian's part in the process.
Dad agrees, calling it the, "handoff of the year."
Check out the exceptional moment in the video captured by Womble's sister below.
