How many of us saw Disney movies as children and dreamed of being able to get along with wild animals? For one little girl, it appears that such a dream has already become a reality. When a deer entered her backyard, she didn't hesitate to go right up to it and try to befriend it. But instead of bolting away, never to return, this beautiful creature appeared to be curious about the little human! What followed is something this toddler's parents will never forget.
Believe it or not, this isn't the first time a tiny human has had a magical encounter with a deer. This little girl and a friendly fawn had an interaction that was so sweet, it looked like it belonged in a fairy tale! While the young deer in this video wasn't quite as comfortable with his new friend, it still says a lot that he always came back to observe the happy toddler… almost as if he were playing with her. While these special moments might be a rare treat for those of us in the U.S., they're commonplace in this Japanese town where the wild deer are so comfortable with humans that they'll walk right up to you!
