For both kids and adults alike, the zoo is an adventurous place. The thrill of seeing live animals from all around the world is enough of a memory in itself.
However, this little toddler was in for his own unexpected experience at the zoo.
This specific zoo housed two Tayras, members of the weasel family, within its walls.
Out of nowhere, the tayras suddenly went for each other, their heads whipping around to dodge each other's strikes. They found themselves in a brawl of sharp teeth clanging, lots of heavy head-butting, and some moves resembling those of high school wrestling matches.
The two animals were in full attack mode, targeting each other. The two zoo inhabitants seemed like they weren't going to stop anytime soon. There was quite the scene going on in the enclosure now.
It did not take long for a small toddler to take notice of the situation.
Wanting to be the hero, this little boy stepped up to the enclosure and banged his hand on the glass repeatedly. He yelled for the animals to cease their violent antics, wanting them to play nice with each other.
Unfortunately, the battle continued on. Luckily, this toddler was not about to give up, yelling for the tayras to stop with all of his fearless, toddler might. The animals zoomed from one end of the enclosure to the other in a matter of moments.
The little boy followed the destructive duo, never looking away from the action. Eventually, the fight winded down, and all of the excitement ended.
Now, the animals might have just gotten tired, but who knows: maybe they really did hear this toddler's heroic plea!
