Do you remember your birthday parties from when you were younger? I know I sure do.
My mother was always so keen on giving my brothers and me the very best birthday parties possible. I remember one in particular (I was turning 5) where we all dressed up as princesses and made crowns out of fake flowers. It's one of my most vivid childhood memories.
But the big event of every birthday party was, of course, the cake. At my family's birthday parties, the cakes were never anything short of masterpieces.
Blowing out the candles on each cake was a quick process in order to get to the eating part of the event.
For the little boy in the video below, getting to the cake was no small feat. He simply couldn't get the candle to go out! We all know how ever-important it is to get that wish in before indulging in a sugary treat on your birthday, but he hilariously couldn't figure things out.
Watching this enthusiastic boy do just about everything he could to get the flame out is sure to put a smile onto your face — I know his determination and willingness to keep trying definitely made my day!
