Travis Kelce’s Golf Outing With Patrick Mahomes Proves Latest Taylor Swift Rumor Was Wrong

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce gushes about girlfriend Taylor Swift whenever her name is mentioned.

It sure seems that Kelce’s world was turned upside down when the NFL player began dating Swift, the world-renowned singer. We know it was in one way: Kelce is now generating headlines on gossip websites around the world.

During the 18 months that Kelce has been dating Swift, there have been stories saying they’re engaged (no official word on that), their relationship had ended (that’s false) and that she was upset with how he acts in public.

The latest rumor to be kicked out at the end of March was from the Daily Mail, which had this headline: “Crisis that’s driven Taylor Swift into hiding takes dark turn: ‘Desperate’ Travis Kelce is struggling to help… but there’s a crushing private battle she’ll never walk away from”

Whew, that’s a long headline, right?

That story said Swift’s friends were dealing with personal issues. That meant she and Kelce were taking time away from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, the KC Current co-owner. This is an excerpt from the story:

“[Swift and Kelce] aren’t hanging out with Patrick and Brittany right now,” a third insider tells us.

“The two couples aren’t avoiding each other because of any tension, they just have other priorities right now,” that insider added, referencing the fact that the Mahomeses welcomed a new daughter in January.

“Travis and Taylor will get their friend and family fix in no time, but right now it’s all about the relationship.”

But just one day after that article dropped, Kelce got his “friend fix” with Mahomes, showing that part of the story apparently was wrong.

Mahomes and Kelce were spotted playing golf at the Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina, People magazine reported.

And one person said Swift was with Kelce in North Carolina.

Photos of Kelce and Mahomes were widely shared on social media, and showed that the teammates weren’t keeping their distance. Those two were having a good time.
