Use Old Trophies To Create A Baseball-Inspired Coatrack

I'm not a huge sports fan — but if there's one American pastime I truly enjoy, it's baseball!

And though the World Series ended this past week, I just can't shake my baseball fever. Not even watching this adorable video of a little boy's first baseball game can put my baseball mania to rest.

So, how about a baseball-inspired DIY project to bring you back to the ball park, to Little League, to peanuts and crackerjacks and hot dogs smothered in mustard and ketchup!

This thrifty DIY-er found a box of old Little League trophies and decided to put them to good use — much better than all of them collecting dust in the attic of his mother's house.

This DIY is perfect for any little boy in love with baseball, and it's a great way to remember those old trophies from yore.

Trophies are usually mass-produced and are easily taken apart — so that's what this DIY-er decided to do.

After taking apart all of the trophies, he was left with the little people on top who have a screw out of the bottom.

He bought this inexpensive wooden bat for the project.

Now that it was flat, it was able to be mounted to a board.

He then drilled a hole into a board of cherrywood to serve as the mounting board for the bat.
