Dad Whips Up Gourmet Meal For His Twin Girls, Then They Adorably Dismiss His Cooking

Simon was ready to feed his twin daughters, Ottie and Delilah, when things didn't turn out as planned. He sat down across from his two babies with a bowl of his gourmet cooking in hand.

As he prepared to serve his daughters their meals, he asked them, "Girls, do you like daddy's food?" One of the twins shook her head.

Taken aback by the first twin's response, he asked, "What do you mean?" Suddenly, his other twin daughter shook her head and arms, firmly rejecting her father's cooking skills.

Simon was in disbelief. "I spent ages training as a chef," he told the identical babies. "I pureed carrots and potatoes for you," he continued.

The twin sitting to his left began to giggle. Perhaps their father's cooking was a joke to the tiny food critics?

"And now you laugh in my face," Simon said, saddened by the rejection he was facing.

An "upset" Simon told his twins, "It hurts my feelings," then he attempted to entertain his daughters even more.

"I can't do it anymore!" Simon whined as if he were crying. He lifted himself out of his seat in fake tears. Rejection hurts, but it truly burns deeper when it comes from a toddler — or two.

Simon clearly made the best of it, joking around and turning his daughters' typical lunchtime into the cute interaction below.
