Bride And Groom Stand At The Altar When He Suddenly Pulls Out His Phone And Starts Tweeting

On November 21, 2009, Dana and Tracy got married in front of a room full of their loved ones… but Dana wanted to give everyone a surprise during their traditional ceremony.

Dana says the couple has a lot of family scattered around the country and, like most people, they use Facebook to keep in touch. So, when Dana and Tracy got engaged, most of their families found out via Facebook once they updated their statuses.

Dana surprised not only their guests, but also Tracy, by pulling his cell phone out of his pocket and posting on Facebook and Twitter from the altar! No one knew about this funny and lighthearted moment except for him and the minister.

Dana's Tweet read: Standing at the altar with @TracyPage where just a second ago, she became my wife! Gotta go, time to kiss my bride. #weddingday

He also secretly snuck Tracy's phone in his pocket, so if and when she wanted to do the same, he could quickly hand it to her.

"This was just done to be funny — we really don't Facebook THAT often — I don't condone this as some sort of ritual: it was funny to me and it was original," Dana writes on YouTube.

But would this be something Tracy would be okay with? Watch the video to find out, and please SHARE this unexpected wedding moment with your friends on Facebook!
