Victoria Beckham Opens Up About Watching Her Son, 23, Marry The Love Of His Life

Victoria Beckham is opening up about her son's magical wedding day.

The fashion designer and former Spice Girl spoke with Today about her oldest son Brooklyn's special day, which took place back in April.

"It was a beautiful wedding," she told the outlet. "As a mother, to see my son so happy means so much. What more can you ask for?"

Victoria is clearly incredibly happy for her son. Brooklyn married actress Nicola Peltz in Palm Beach, Florida. The two first met in 2019. Brooklyn proposed the following year.

According to insiders, the wedding was a truly special event that included a Jewish ceremony. The bride's grandmother served as her maid of honor. Of course, some of Victoria's famous friends were present, like Mel C, Serena and Venus Williams, Eva Longoria, and more.

While there was reportedly a rift between Victoria and her new daughter-in-law after the wedding, it seems that all is now calm. The Beckhams were reportedly upset that Nicola made a comment that Victoria didn't design her wedding gown because she didn't have time. And insider told the Daily Mail that David Beckham had harsh words with his son over the comments. But at the end of the day, Victoria and David want to be close to their new daughter-in-law, the insider shared.

Victoria is definitely feeling growing pains when it comes to watching her kids get older. She spoke about how it feels to watch her kids grow up, which she said happens "so quickly." She believes it's about "cherishing every moment." The 48-year-old shares four children with husband David Beckham: Brooklyn, 23; Romeo, 20; Cruz, 17; and Harper, 11.

"We're a very close family," she continued of her bond with her growing kids. "It's all about communication and being present as a parent. I love to work, I love what I do in fashion and beauty. But being a parent, being a good mom, is my No. 1 job."

She continued, "But they're amazing, they work hard, they're good, sweet, kind human beings, and that's what you want to do as a parent."

Victoria's entire family, including her new daughter-in-law, attended her Paris Fashion Week debut, where the designer introduced her spring/summer 2023 collection. She shared a series of photographs from the special day on Instagram, where the designer is seen walking the catwalk after the show. In the images, she's clearly emotional. In one picture, she's covering her face.

"Overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude," she wrote.

"You know, I was so emotional because it's such a big deal for me to have a show in Paris," she told Today of the event. "It was a real highlight of my career. I had my family there, I had my friends there, and I felt so proud of my team. I really did."
