In the touching video below entitled "Our Wedding Song," music group CDZA takes a trip to the Brookdale Senior Living in New York City. They're here to share the stories of four extraordinary couples and perform the songs they were married to. For some of these couples, it's the first time in a long time they've heard these songs performed live.
As the couples dance and sway to these nostalgic sounds, they fill the room with so much love. It's impossible not to be taken back to the day they married, and how life has been ever since: the ups, the downs, the babies, the fights, the makeups, the losses, the wins, and the continuation of their stories from inside the nursing home. It all started with a simple dance to the songs you're about to hear.
All of the couples you're about to meet have unique, wonderful fairytales to tell. Mike describes the day he proposed to Francis by saying,"It was the greatest thing that ever happened. I can't describe how wonderful I felt at the time, I was kind of in a daze. And 70 years later, I'm still in a daze."
