There is something so sweet, touching, and very often TRUE about a young child's view of the world.
So many times in our adult lives, our minds get clouded by overthinking, anxiety, and doubt. It's often helpful to listen to the simple thoughts of a little kid to bring us back down to earth and remind us of what truly matters.
In this incredibly touching video from the YouTube page KidsTalkAboutGod, a group of elementary school-aged children are asked the simple question, "Why did your mom marry your dad?" It sounds easy enough to answer, but of course some of the kids say the most adorable and hilarious things…except for one little girl.
A few seconds into the video, a young girl gave me chills when she tells the camera "because when they looked at each other straight in the eye, they knew they were made for each other." Of course, love is usually more complicated than this, but when it comes down to it, this is the truth in its simplest form.
