Most people wouldn't want to come face-to-face with a wild animal, but that is exactly what happened to one little boy when he recently visited the zoo with his parents.
During the trip, the family stopped by the leopard enclosure, where the boy sat next to the ledge. They'd noticed the 3-year-old leopard was hiding behind the bushes and decided to sit tight and see if the animal would come any closer.
Knowing that zoo animals can be pretty unpredictable, like this gorilla who pranked the zookeepers or this monkey who stole a woman's camera to take a selfie, the boy's mom starts filming the feisty feline.
In the video, the leopard crouches down like it is ready to pounce and starts to stalk the human baby. Suddenly, the leopard pounces at the child and, of course, collides with the glass. Whew, that was a close call! The confused leopard is seen swiping at the glass separating her from the boy and paws at him as the fearless baby turns and laughs.
I've been to the zoo plenty of times, but I’ve never seen anything quite like this!
