When I'm trying to do my hair in the morning, I still find myself deciding between a bun or a ponytail, but there are so many new ways to create a fun and flirty look with only a twist in your hairstyle! I love this double fan bun, and this faux waterfall headband has been my go-to for a while. But now I'm ready to switch it up with this beautiful 2-in-1 angel wing combo hairstyle! And all you need at two elastics and bobby pins to keep the style in place.
Start off by pulling two sections of hair into a half-ponytail. Take a thin section of hair that falls under the half-ponytail and, by slipping two fingers under the pony, loop it over and under so that it falls over the loose hair. Tuck it into the loop so that it falls seamlessly into the half-ponytail. Repeat this step on the other side of your head!
Next, take a thin section of hair close to your temple and loop it three quarters of the way through the upper portion of the half-ponytail. Repeat this step with two additional sections of hair every quarter-of the way up. Once this is done on both sides of the half-ponytail, this gives the hairstyle its "angel wings" effect.
Secure the style with bobby pins. You can leave your hair loose, or pull it into a nice fishtail braid!
