We all have one: a graveyard of sorts where old furniture goes to collect dust. You can't seem to get rid of the old things, because you know they have potential, but you just don't know what to do with them. Sometimes, all an older piece needs is a good coat of paint or stain, and it's as good as new.
But other times? An old piece of furniture needs a lot more than that.
Sure, this dresser wasn't so bad to start off. It had a few dings and scratches here and there, and the color was overwhelmingly dark. Most people might simply take to it with a sander and give it a brighter stain or coat of paint to bring it up to date. Maybe, if they were feeling wild, they'd invest in some modern drawer pulls. Just like that, they'd have an almost brand-new dresser ready to remove from the graveyard and place in their home in a most prized position in the living room.
However, when this man saw this old dresser, he saw so much more potential. This wasn't going to be a single day project, but it was definitely going to be worth it at the end of the road.
He starts off by tearing the top away from the rest of the piece. From there? He almost totally destroys it before quickly adding the finishing touches.
This looks like it could be difficult, but all it took was a few extra steps beyond buffing, sanding, and repainting.
