Bryan Danger says that his wife, Jen, has always been a hippie at heart. She's wanted to run away and travel, but he was never used to that lifestyle.
But, with compromise, they went on a trip with no end date, that left them downsizing everything. When they came back, they had a home with much to much space for the two of them, and much too much cost to their wallets.
So, they got creative.
They moved out of their three family bedroom and moved into their empty garage. Renting out their family home, left them with no mortgage to pay, and no rent to pay for their own living space in the garage right next door.
The money advantages were clear, but once you see the inside, the design will prove that everything was worth it.
They made everything by hand, and all with multi-purpose. The spacious design, modern finish, and unique homey feel is absolutely breathtaking.
I'd have to agree with Jen, that my favorite part is the bathroom, what a simple and beautifully clean space! Everything about this place makes me want to put my creativity to work and create my own tiny dream home.
I just don't think I could execute my ideas as well as this creative couple, but I'd definitely love to hang out in their home garage!
