1. Umbrella Basket
How cute is this? You can find a cheap umbrella in all sorts of cute patterns, then just fill it in with fake grass and all the goodies!
2. Troll Hair Basket
You just need a whole bunch of bright tulle to pull this off, with some hot glue and ribbon to tie it off at the top. I love the flowers they added here, too.
3. Chick Basket
Maggy from Red Ted Art used recycled tissue paper, a balloon, and paper-mache to create the base for these baskets, then added felt, feathers, and googly eyes for the details.
You can make them even bigger, if you have more paper and inflate the balloon more, but these small fries can still hold plenty of treats too.
4. Crepe Paper Basket
I thought these were made from coffee filters at first, but the folks at Best DIY Ideas actually layered crepe paper (like the kind you would string up for streamers) and sewed them into the ruffles before circling them around for an adorable basket.
5. Crochet Basket
Obviously, you'll need to have a knack for crocheting to pull off this pattern — or you can be like me and ask a friend or family member to whip it up for you instead!
6. Candy Basket
You just need movie theater-sized boxes of candy and hot glue (or whatever adhesive you have handy) to create the bottom of the basket, then add licorice or whatever rope-like candy your kiddos prefer for the handle.
It's such a clever way to put a twist on the tradition!
7. Fuzzy Bunny Basket
This precious basket just uses fluffy fabric hot glued over a plain basket, some felt for the ears and eyes, and cloth paint.
8. Yarn Egg Basket
This uses a balloon with paper-mache to arrange the brightly colored yarn. Simply pop and remove the balloon, once it's dry, to reveal the egg shape. You can add the cute ruffle, but the egg is pretty impressive on its own!
9. Tutu Basket
I love this quick, easy way to give a store-bought basket a little something extra for your little princess. All you need is hot glue and tulle!
10. Mini Mason Jar Basket
You can get as creative as you'd like while painting these petite "baskets" with whatever design and color you'd prefer, but these baby blue angles are totally adorable.
11. Burlap Basket
No sewing necessary for these super cute bags that are sure to hold plenty of eggs — hot glue the felt letters and optional ears, and you're good to go!
