Fall is just around the corner, which means it's not too early to celebrate the end of summer with delightful harvest and fall decorations. While colorful leaves and pumpkins may come to mind, you can accent it all with beautiful black lace for a chic and vintage look.
There are so many ways to decorate your home in a tasteful and festive way, and I recently got inspiration to make black lace candle holders that would pair perfectly with all my fall decor.
The warm light from the candle shines decoratively through the lace pattern on the candle holder. Plus, the delicate lace adds texture and beauty to any type of decor. Using the black lace makes the candle holders more unique and timeless, adding even more to the ambiance.
Using a variety of candle holder sizes and different types of lace, it's easy to make a centerpiece that is stylish, elegant, and effortlessly romantic.
I'm using these as an everyday decoration for my fall table, but they'd be perfect to illuminate the guest tables at your wedding reception or to create a spooky vibe for a Halloween bash in October.
Check out just how easy it is to create these beautiful lace candle holders in just minutes with the step-by-step tutorial below.
1. Measure the lace around each candle holder, and cut off the appropriate length.
2. Glue the lace to the candle holder.
Get creative with different lace sizes and patterns to give your house an even more chic look.
3. Let dry, and continue to make as many lace candle holders as you'd like.
These candle holders are very easy to make, especially if you use a hot-glue gun. I made seven in less than 10 minutes!
4. When you're ready, drop a candle (or fake tea light) into each candle holder.
As always, be extra careful when lighting. A good-size candle will burn for many hours, so remember to keep an eye on it, and blow it out it when you’re done.
While the candle is burning, it creates a subtle glow throughout the home. At night, it can even give off a more dramatic effect.
Get creative and use these lace candle holders however you'd like. While I plan to use these straight through to Thanksgiving, the lace makes this DIY project timeless.
Not only is this craft easy to make, it will brighten your room and be a great conversation piece when you have family and friends in your home.
