This DIY Rustic Homemade Air Freshener Is Easy AND Inexpensive!

I am constantly looking for ways to spruce up my home.

Most of my DIY projects involve building a new piece of furniture, like this fire pit bench for my backyard, or tackling new ways of organizing my space. But when I saw this extremely simple life hack, I knew that I'd spruce up more than just the visual part of my home. I'd spruce up the smell.

In this video, our DIY expert Jill Urban tackles one of the easiest and most useful projects I've seen in awhile. Using only a Mason jar, some fabric, baking soda, essential oils, a scissor, and a knife, Jill is quickly able to create a beautiful smelling homemade air freshener. What a great idea!

This project is perfect for me because it doesn't involve a lot of complicated instructions. Plus, I already had all of the supplies in my house so it didn't cost me any money at all. This simple hack is the perfect addition to my home, adding some much-needed rustic flair.
