All around the world, there exists a host of gorgeous homes. Massive mansions, ancient castles, charming chateaus, all stunning (and enviable) in their own unique way.
But until I saw this little home, I had no idea that such natural beauty was possible — and now, I know exactly what my dream home looks like. Sure, fantastical tiny houses are nothing new — but I've never seen one as incredible as this before.
Hidden away in the lush mountains of Norway, covered in and filled with natural elements, this little cottage has to be seen to be believed. It might look like something out of The Lord of the Rings, but this little house is definitely real.

Nestled in the rolling green mountains of Norway, halfway between Oslo and Bergen, sits a house too beautiful to be real.

It might not seem like much at first, but step inside this grassy knoll, and a dreamy cabin experience awaits.

Nicknamed the "Hobbit Hut," this little home is like something from a fairytale. It's the perfect nook for a rustic getaway.

Sure, there are lots of nearby ski resorts, spas, and national parks — but how could you ever leave this cozy interior?

Visiting in the winter months? The heated floors turn on to keep the space nice and toasty. In the spring and summer, the mountains burst to life with greenery right outside the windows.

Imagine cuddling up on this hand-hewn bed lined with soft blankets and faux furs.

A warm bed like that would be much-appreciated in the winter, when the mountainscape becomes a stunning winter wonderland.

But when the snow melts, Mother Nature explodes upon this hillside — even on the rustic roof! Disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with nature would be effortless with this stunning backyard.
