Where do you go when you want to escape it all?
Some people like traveling to action-packed cities where the pace goes a mile-a-minute, while others like to feel their adrenaline sky rocket as they trek across rugged terrains, go sky-diving, or explore the deep blue sea.
Others prefer something a little quieter like a relaxing weekend out in the country spent resting and communing with nature. That's when a country or weekend cabin can come in so handy, and the one below might be my personal favorite.
Built by Kanga Room Systems, this cabin sits near Blanco, TX — a short drive to either San Antonio or Austin — and much like other tiny homes that are increasing in popularity across the nation, this one has made brilliant us of the limited space it has.
This cabin is only 480 square feet, but it feels absolutely enormous once you're inside. Just take a scroll through the pictures and see for yourself!

The exterior of the front of the house is quintessential country cabin living.

Though there's not much square footage, the vaulted ceilings make it feel practically cavernous.

A loft in the living area can serve as kids room, guest room, play area, or whatever else the owner may desire.

It could even be storage, but why waste such a nice area?

It's this kind of architectural detail that truly sets it apart from other run-of-the-mill cabins.

Kanga custom builds all of their homes based on their client's specifications and can even deliver them.

And just because it's a "country" house, doesn't mean it's not modern, chic, and elegant.

And unlike many tiny houses with no kitchen space, this one has ample room — you could even host a party!

With the right configurations, this cabin could accommodate large families or groups.

And even the bathroom is clean, modern, and roomy.

I've seen plenty of cabins where I've been told the bathroom is just an outhouse. This is obviously much nicer.

But the other side of the house has one of the best parts of all.

The homeowner can enjoy the beautiful weather and feel like they're outside without having to deal with mosquitos thanks to a covered porch.

The fresh air of the outdoors is fully accessible, but there's no worries about pesky bugs bothering you.

Best of all? The units start at just a little over $80,000 — much cheaper than most houses.
