Alicia started out with — of course — tree stumps!
Rather than simply turning them into firewood or hauling them away, tree stumps can be used in many unique and beautiful ways.
In this case, the stumps would be transformed into elegant and all-natural side tables!
Alicia's first step was to remove the rough bark and sand it down, creating a smooth and attractive surface.
These particular stumps had been sitting in the sun for a very long time, which helped to season the wood.
Next, the stumps were painted a beautiful pearly white.
Once they were fully dried, Alicia brought her transformed stumps inside.
With the right accessories, they added the perfect rustic touch to her elegant room.
Her other stump was painted a beautiful shade of gold, which elevated the wood and added a lovely sparkle to the room.
