But did you know that you can use them in the fall to make the perfect pumpkin?
You heard right, using only some spray paint, twine, and Mason jar bands, you can make a little pumpkin, perfect for porches or centerpieces.
The Country Cook's Brandie Skibinski describes how to construct this little craft; all you need to know are a few little tricks and you'll have a perfectly-shaped pumpkin in no time.

Nothing quite compares to Mason jars in the crafting department; there is just something so cute about them.
Well, Mason jar maniacs will be pleased to know that the Country Cook's Brandie Skibinski has showcased a way to make pumpkins out of them!
The secret to making the perfect pumpkin shape doesn't have to do with the jar so much as the lids — the little bands, that is!
Skibinski started by spraying all of them a bright pumpkin orange, then waited for them to dry.
Then, making sure that the bands were all facing the same way, she used orange-colored thread to tie them all together in a ring shape.
Once they are all evenly placed, they should look like a perfectly round pumpkin!
To get the perfect fanned-out shape, the grooved part of the bands should all be facing the same way.
And the string needs to be tied super tightly in order for the pumpkin to hold its shape.
Once you have your round pumpkin shape, all that's left to do is create a cool stem in the middle.
Skibinski opted for a group of cinnamon sticks.
After that the pretty Mason jar pumpkin is complete!
They couldn't be easier, and I have a sneaking suspicion that you already have quite a few Mason jars sitting around to donate to the project.
