We all know what the basic "for sale" sign looks like. It's typically placed outside a house — stuck into the ground and held up with either wood or metal.
The sign may say the real estate agent's name or company, it might have some information about the price of the home, or it may provide a website or phone number for interested buyers.
Shane Broyles has seen his fair share of "for sale" signs — after all, he's the one who typically puts them up.
Shane is a real estate agent in Michigan. He works for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services.
When he put a new listing on the market recently, he saw a unique opportunity to have some fun with the sign.
Above the main part of the sign, he posted another, smaller sign. This sign said, "Quiet Neighbors" and pointed across the street — where the cemetery is located.

Most "for sale" signs look something like the one above: nondescript, boring, and straight forward.
Once in a while, though, real estate agents can have a little more fun with the signs they put on people's lawns.

When Shane Broyles realized the house he was putting on the market was located across the street from a cemetery, he knew exactly what to do.
He went to a sign store and had them print up something special for him.

Do you see the hysterical sign Shane added to the basic "for sale" sign?
Because of the cemetery across the street, Shane thought it would be funny to write, "Quiet Neighbors," hoping it would help sell the house — or at least garner some interest.

Almost everyone wants to live on a quiet, tree-lined street, but most probably don't imagine living near a cemetery.
Shane's genius sign draws attention to the fact that this home is guaranteed to always have quiet neighbors, no matter what.

The charming four-bedroom, two-bathroom home is the perfect place for a family to live. It has good schools nearby, a fenced yard, and is located near some great restaurants and cafes.
Located in charming DeWitt, Michigan, the house is listed at only 159,900.

If Shane's clever sign doesn't work to sell the house, here's another silly option!
What do you think? Would you live in this house?
