We’ve seen some incredible tiny homes on LittleThings in the past, but I guarantee you’ve never seen anything like the video you’re about to watch.
The Tiny House Movement is gaining headway as both families and singles alike decide to scale back for economic and environmental reasons. It’s sometimes difficult to remember that we don’t always need all the stuff we have crammed into our homes. It’s certainly a luxury, but many of us could benefit from adopting some of these minimalist traits, as we saw in a recent video we posted of residents who live in micro-housing in the nation’s oldest mall. And in metropolitan cities like New York, utilitarian spaces and convertible furniture has revolutionized small spaces for more comfortable living.
But in the video below, we’re introduced to architect Van Bo Le-Mentzal’s house project that measures, in total, one square meter (about 10 square feet). You may be thinking that’s impossible, but when you see the effectiveness of his use of space, you may find yourself dreaming up new ways to maximize your own space. And, if we’re being fair, this teeny house definitely cuts some corners when it comes to the amenities offered in traditional homes — but he may be on to something!
