This Tiny House Is Rusty On Purpose! And The Cranks Inside Are So Smart!

Lots of people, from all walks of life, appreciate tiny house living — including science fiction fans.

And when the innovative world of tiny houses meets fantasy, magic can happen.

The tiny house below was purposefully designed in a unique style called "Steampunk" which combines 19th century technology and aesthetics, with a little bit of modern technology. It may sounds confusing, but this house is a great example of how nice it can actually look.

For instance, a steampunk fan would be much more attracted to a caboose from 1939 that was converted into a tiny house than a lovely cabin nestled in the woods. Especially if that caboose was outfitted with industrial details like exposed bricks and pipes, and decorated with steamer trunks, old maps, and gear clocks.

Design company Maximus Extreme has created a 340-square-foot stunner that may looks little rusty on the outside. But the inside is something out of this world…

Take, for instance, the loft above the main living area. It’s an open space with very little concealment.

That is until you give you give a steampunk apparatus a simple crank or two.

A kid’s bedroom still remains childlike without breaking the home’s theme.

The bathroom’s an industrial treat as well.
