Since brown eyes contain hints of orange and red, bright blues such as this one are one of the many go-to choices to make the eyes really stand out. Pro tip: Add some blue shadow or liner to the bottom lash line for an added effect to make the eyes really pop.

Here's another blue-inspired option in navy for something a little bit more dramatic. This look is especially flattering on brown eyes as the coolness of the blue is a stark contrast against the warmth of the brown. Pro tip: add turquoise glitter or liner on the inner corners as seen here for a little more flair.

This copper/green combo is another look that goes fabulously with brown eyes. To recreate start by adding a base color to your lid. Next, gently apply a glitter eyeshadow to the center of your lid with your finger or a brush. Lastly, run a teal green eyeshadow under your lower lash line and blend it with a clean brush. For an added look line your waterline with black liner and place some glitter eyeshadow to the middle of the lower lash line.

It's no coincidence that green on green appears on our list twice here. As seen above, green eye shadow works well with green eyes, and the gold is an added bonus for a fun night out. To get the really dark purple add Mac's "Vibrant Grape" and "Creme de Violet."

This one is actually a lot simpler than it looks and can be done with our famed Urban Decay Naked Palette using "Half Baked" on the inner half of the lid, followed by "Smog" and "Dark Horse" on the rest of the lid. Finish it off with "Creep" to the outer V and "Buck" for the crease.

For an added effect, line your eyes all the way around to really make them pop.

Get the kohl-lined look with the eyeliner seen here.

For a fun and flirty look like Dianna Agron, opt for lighter, girly-girl colors such as this shimmery, cranberry-inspired eye, which is perfect for daytime wear.
