It Looks Like A Normal Shipping Container, But Inside There’s A Gorgeous Tiny Home

Here at LittleThings, it's safe to say that we love tiny houses. Anytime there's a new tiny house on the market, we know about it.

People all over the country love watching television shows about tiny houses — whether they're about house hunting or house renovations, people love it all. And it makes sense! Tiny houses are not only practical and adorable, they're also so fascinating to look at.

Many of us know that owning a tiny house isn't the best option for us, but we still love seeing how they work for other people.

One of the best things about tiny houses is that people often build them on their own!

Many people choose to use shipping containers for their tiny homes — like this man who built his dream home out of two rusty shipping containers.

Check out this incredible tiny home built out of a shipping container — the inside will blow you away!

This tiny house, located in Norfolk, Virginia, is listed at $16,000.

The outside of this tiny home looks pretty boring — it's just a plain, white shipping container with a ladder up to the top.

It looks pretty nondescript. From the outside, nobody would guess that there's a beautiful home inside.

The white walls continue on the inside of the home, but they look completely different. Instead of looking boring and blah, like they did outside, the walls inside look fresh and bright.

It's hard to tell from this one photo, but the inside is actually highly convertible — just check out the next picture!

The living room space can be converted into a simple lounging space with a hanging hammock.

In addition, it's the main bedroom for the tiny house — that couch turns into a bed!

Located right next to the window, the bed gets a lot of natural light and provides sleeping arrangements for two people. (Plus, there's storage underneath!)

For an extra sleeping spot, open up the hammock and hang it above the bed — it'll be a little tight, but mostly it'll just feel like bunk beds.

For such a tiny home, this shipping container house has a pretty great kitchen.

Sure, it's small, but it has a good amount of counter space and a mini fridge to store perishables.

You might not have guessed, but this adorable chess table actually functions as more than just a fun activity board.

It's also the kitchen table!

The chess table opens up into a table — although there are only two chairs at the table in this photo, it could easily fit a few more.

Multiuse objects like this are essential for all tiny homes.
