When I think of where a family of six likely lives, I certainly don't think of a 480-square-foot house!
But that is exactly what this British Columbia family has been doing while completing the tiny home of their dreams.
Now that the adorable house is finished, it is for sale and has some beautiful amenities that accompany the tiny size.
The cozy home is still big enough for a large family — even chickens have a place to stay with both a coop and shed in the back.
And though it is super small, it also sits on five acres of land, perfect for hiking, horses, or snowshoeing in the winter. So if you are a tiny house lover who also admirers the great outdoors, you will definitely want to take a look around.
Are you curious to see exactly how a family that big fits in a house that small? Scroll through below to see the inside of this lovely tiny log cabin.
[H/T: Tiny House Swoon]
The tiny log home was built from scratch by a British Columbia family who wanted to establish a "permaculture homestead."
It has a spacious kitchen area with storage, a stove, an oven, and a refrigerator!
The little area still gets a lot of light and has plenty of space for the family of six to spend time together.
There is also a living section with a cozy wood-burning stove.
As for sleeping, the space has a beautiful king-size bed nook with under-the-bed storage, and the ladder goes to a loft!
The bathroom, complete with toilet and shelf storage, also has a fancy claw-foot bathtub.
To top off the fun accompaniments to the tiny home, there is a little space for a front-load washer and dryer.
If more storage is needed for tools, gardening, or chickens, there are also two outbuildings — one is perfect for storage and one is perfect for hens!
As you can see, there is a lot to love in such a tiny space.
This house proves that size doesn't matter when it comes to building a beautiful, happy home for the family.
