The country's northeast region is home to many spectacular residences.
Many of them are tiny homes, and have been built by their owners entirely from the ground up. The owners of this tiny loft cabin in Vermont, for example, spent plenty of time and hard work building their new countryside home. They've even enlisted the help of all their family members!
Just west of Boston, the Hall family has built their own incredible tiny house using natural and composted materials. From the outside, it already looks like a wonderful trailer home, but when I took a look inside? I was simply blown away.
Mom and Dad live with their 18-year-old son and their dog, Tango, in what they've dubbed the "Tiny Hall House." Take a look inside, and hopefully you'll be as inspired by the design as I am!

The Hall family has always found pleasure and excitement in living simply. They now call the "Tiny Hall House" in the MetroWest region near Boston their home.
Measuring 8 feet by 20 feet and framed with an ABC metal roof and a composite of recycled materials, this tiny home opens up to a wonderfully bright and cozy interior.
It has a kitchen with a wonderful stack of supplies, stairs leading up to an upstairs loft bedroom, and plenty of storage space.
The bed is made from an organic mattress with a two-inch natural foam rubber. It might be oversize in the loft space, but it sure is comfortable.
Mom and Dad sleep upstairs in the loft, while their son sleeps on the first floor in the twin-bed-sized couch. Tango, their dog, can roam anywhere he likes!
With its sturdy building materials, the home has weathered a ghastly New England winter and will definitely do so again this year.
The bathroom sits comfortably beneath the loft bedroom, to the side of the kitchen. It comes complete with a shower space.
Next to it is the composting toilet, surrounded by wall-mounted photos and natural cedar walls.
Initially, the family had to do plenty of work taking apart and sanding down materials, and applying more than 1,000 coats of paint to everything in the home.
The fully stocked kitchen is definitely a gathering place in the center of the home. They're even looking to install a wooden stove!
The living room is adorned with finishing touches like silk Roman shades and pillows, and beautiful leather cushions for the sofa.
The Halls have also added a portable patio, plantings, and a vegetable garden. In the future, they hope to add rain catchers, a bike shed, a green roof, and plenty of other features!
