Which Tile Pattern Are You Most Drawn To? The Answer Is Incredibly Revealing!

My mother taught me that you can learn a lot about a person from the way they decorate their home.

You can express yourself in all kinds of creative ways when it comes to interior design, such as upcycling old windows into cool, new furniture. Just one look around a house, and you can tell exactly what kind of person lives there.

So when I saw that there was a distinct connection between the tile patterns in a person's home and their personality, it made total sense. Our brains are drawn to certain patterns for a reason.

In this exclusive look at tiling for the home, when I picked out which patterns I was drawn to, I was able to see what that revealed about my personality and my taste in home decor. It made sense that mine was spot on — after all, so much of a person's personality goes into decorating their home.

Scroll through below to see what pattern you are most drawn to, and what that reveals about you. It's so nice to know that when a person enters my home, they are getting a full-on glimpse into who I really am.

While this pattern can be found in brick and even the occasional kitchen tile, it is largely utilized in the bathroom, giving the floor a somewhat busier appearance.

Choosing the square and diamond pattern shows that you like life to be a bit more complicated. You enjoy staying busy and active, and you love to delve into complex problem solving. You have a mind capable of focusing on many things at once, which proves to be a great asset in your work life. It's not that you don't know how to keep things simple, it's just that simple can sometimes be boring for you.

Choosing the diamond in diamond pattern shows that you have a great eye for detail. While others might prefer addressing problems with a large, sweeping overview, you prefer to dig in and address the smaller, more minute aspects. You probably spend just as much time picking out accessories as you do your clothing. And your home reflects this attention to detail with each nook and cranny being completely well thought-out.

But the other half of you wants to put a different spin on things. The result, in life and around the house, is usually a very pleasing one.
