DIY blogger Kristi of Chatfield Court is creating stunning DIY projects to share with the masses, and she couldn't be more thrilled with her latest creation: birchwood-sourced rustic candle holders.
They're incredibly simple to make, but yield an absolutely show-stopping result. With just a few pieces of birchwood, a saw, and a few hours, you, too, can create the perfect addition to a cozy corner.

Our DIY-er Kristi started with a few solid birch logs that she sourced from the great outdoors.
Wanting a candle holder that would fit both tea lights and tapered dinner candles, she used a hole saw and butterfly drill bit to make two different-size holes to accommodate the two styles.
Kristi dried out her wooden candle holders for a few days before displaying them for guests.
