The young musician in this video, Sarah Reeves, decided to cover one of the newest and most powerful praise songs out there.
Originally written by Matt Redman, this beautiful song contains some of the most gorgeously worded lyrics currently out there. Such as:
“You’re rich in love,
And You’re slow to anger.
Your name is great,
And Your heart is kind.
For all Your goodness,
I will keep on singing.
Ten thousand reasons,
For my heart to find.”
The song originally debuted in 2011; it peaked on the U.S. Christian Album chart at No. 1, and it remains a popular tune for Christian music fans.
One such fan was Reeves, who really does a fantastic job of singing this difficult song, all while playing the piano at the same time!
Reeves was raised by a family of musicians, but it wasn't until she had an incredible encounter with God that she decided to shift her focus toward singing His praises. She described her "Moses moment," where everything she was sure of went flying out the window. She now had one duty, and that was to complete the task that God had laid out for her: to just keep singing!
