11 Simple Habits We Should All Develop To Save The Trees

Kathleen Black is out to save some trees! As she sprints through the muddy water like a character out of Baywatch, it's obvious that this young woman is on a mission to save lives everywhere!

Her humorous video begins with her pretending to save the life of a tree when she throws a floatation device out at one into the water.

Watching her video, all of her suggestions seem obvious at first, but the mere fact that she had to make this PSA video to begin with really shows how wasteful our nation really is. Over 13 billion pounds of paper towels are used each year. At 45 pounds per person per year in the U.S., it really shows how big a difference even little changes would make. If every American reduced the amount they used, we could easily reduce many of the needless deaths of thousands of trees per day.

Even though her video is deadly serious, you just have to love the small amount of humor she throws in there. Out in the middle of the woods the video has a hilarious guest star who really seems to agree with the idea of using hemp! At the 1:57 mark of this video just wait to see who agrees so vehemently!

Like we said, all of us know to reuse and recycle, but Black's simple reminder here is not only worth watching, but it's well worth sharing with all of your friends who may not be so green-friendly. Our planet is a beautiful thing, and we only get one, so make sure to treat it with the respect it deserves!
