Our great nation is known for its amazing highway system, its beautiful scenery, and its wonderful people. From sea to shining sea America is filled with amazing cities: historical towns like Philadelphia, huge bustling metropolises like New York City, the rolling hills of San Francisco, and so many more.
But there are also quaint little "burgs" or "villes" that don't make the news quite so often. Beautiful little hidden gems that you don't regularly hear about, but definitely should! These towns are where the heart and soul of America lies, little towns with populations smaller than a New York City office building.
Denizens of towns like these have police officers that know everyone by name, and not for any bad reasons. Towns where the neighbors are actually loved, and some homeowners aren't even afraid to keep their doors unlocked at night!
I think I'm going to get my map, get into my car, get some food supplies and hit the road for an old-fashioned road trip adventure!
While the world gets bigger and bigger with each passing day, hopefully these beautiful little towns stay just as perfect as they are and never change a bit. Because these are all places that you simply have to visit at least once in your lifetime. Which one would you like to live in?
