Baking is one of life's little pleasures. I love it, and no matter what time of year it is, I try to do a little baking for my family. Whether it's cookies or these fabulous mug cakes I've just discovered, there's nothing better than the smell of something sweet coming from the kitchen.
That's why I'm so happy I happened to find this video – some of these baking tips I hadn't heard about until I watched it! I actually had no idea you could make your own brown sugar, but that's going to be very convenient, since I always seem to run out when I need it the most!
