A YouTube user named FlippyCat makes incredible videos where he sets up elaborate domino combinations using thousands of dominos. The creations take hours to set up and only seconds to fall.
But when they fall, they create amazing imagery such as the Mona Lisa, birthday cards and more.
His recent creation is also his largest undertaking to date: a recreation of Van Gogh's starry night. It took him 11 hours to set it up and once he knocked over the first domino… it didn't work.
It took him 11 hours more to set up the 7,000 dominos into the correct formation so that when they fell they'd make the correct formation.

First, he had to line up 7,000 dominoes very carefully. One domino in the wrong position could mess up the entire thing.

The setup includes intricate spirals and patterns, just like Van Gogh's original painting.

The entire process took a grueling 11 hours to complete.

This is how the dominos were arranged before he knocked one over.

One tiny push and it all starts to fall.

And it falls within a matter of seconds.

Starry Night after it's fallen.

Now he collects the dominos to start a new project.
