After a year spent working at an autobody shop in Fayetteville, Georgia, Andreas Flaten put in his two weeks' notice. He told CBS46 that he could tell his boss was bothered by his resignation.
"He froze and stared at me for like a straight minute," he says. "I remember this so clearly … he gets up, puts his hands on his head, walks out the door and disappears for like an hour."

Little did he know just how upset this made his boss.
Andreas says he was still owed his final paycheck — $915 — but he was having a hard time getting it. At one point, he contacted the Georgia Department of Labor to see if someone could assist him.
A few months later, Andreas finally received the money he was owed … but that's where things took a revengeful turn.
Andreas and his girlfriend were heading out to run some errands when they saw the "paycheck" dumped on the driveway.
In the form of a huge pile of pennies.
91,515 pennies, to be exact, weighing a total of more than 500 pounds!
This was clearly an act of spite, and though it isn't illegal to be paid this way, Andreas' girlfriend says it was simply cruel.
