Carolyn Murphy Demers has done something most people only dream of: started her own business…at age 98! She is living proof that age is just a number.
After learning her granddaughter Kate was expecting her first child, Demers prayed for a special way to welcome the newest member of the family. Her answer came in the most unexpected way.
She woke up in the middle of the night and jotted down a poem, which she appropriately titled Anticipating. (See below to read it.) She also felt inspired to start her own line of christening clothing. The rest, as they say, is history! After getting a copyright on the poem and clothing, the great-grandmother — at age 98 — launched her own business, which celebrates the gift of motherhood.
Her business venture proves that you can achieve success at any age. Everyone can be young at heart, inspiring us all to live life to the fullest.
