Nature really is wonderful. There is so much that animals do all on their own that us sissy humans could never imagine doing without the help of, say, a grocery store or medication. Imagine having to scavenge for all of your own food out in the wild, or having to protect your little baby with nothing but the camouflage of a few bushes in the forest. Seems like a nightmare, but wild animals do it day in, day out. It's just life to them, but to us, it seems incredible.
One of the most amazing things that animals out there in nature do is to give birth. We see it over and over again, but it never ceases to amaze us, and it never stops reminding us how beautiful our whole wide world is.
Over at Sosto Zoo in Hungary, a mama camel did just that. She was all on her own while her adorable little baby was born. Sure, it must have been painful, but that's all part of life!
Just moments after the little one was born, Mom starts to nudge at it to try and get it to stand on its wobbly legs. That's another amazing thing: how quickly animals in the wild have to learn how to be a part of the community. Humans? It takes years to really fully function.
When the cutie finally stands up? Too adorable…
