This man helped rescue 13 duck eggs, after the mother was killed. What happened next brought such joy to my heart!
He put the eggs in an incubator and watched them all hatch! Now, the ducklings have imprinted on the man and they believe he is their mother. Imprinting is the biological phenomenon that refers to the critical time period of an animals early life, when they develop concepts of their own identity.
