At the Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica over 150 orphaned and injured sloths get the care and rehabilitation needed in the hopes that they will one day return back out into the wild. These amazing and unusual creatures have captivated the world, so much in fact that Animal Planet has created a soap-opera style television show based on the sanctuary called "Meet the Sloths."
The show follows a year in the life of these slow moving adorable little cuties and their caretakers Claire, Becky and Judy. In this particular episode, members of the sanctuary help ease the discomfort for two adorable baby sloths who are suffering some a serious case of mange. The sanctuary is particularly amazing, not just because of these majestic creatures, but also because it is the only one of it's kind in the entire world.
