This Acroyoga Duo Will Leave You Stunned With Their Outdoor Routine

The sky is the limit when it comes to doing the seemingly impossible during acroyoga. Matt Giordano and Chelsey Korus make for a dynamic pair in this outdoor acroyoga routine. The music they chose as a backdrop to their tricky yoga moves also heightens the suspension throughout the clip.

They also took their hobby to a Colorado mountainside with another routine that’s as equally stunning.

I’m always amazed by the trust required between both yogis to execute a routine that’s as daring as this one. Regardless of the trust, there’s a magnificent amount of control and stamina that goes into holding poses in midair while balancing your body weight atop another.

Giordano acts as the “base,” while Korus takes the role of the “flyer.” While both give each other support throughout their routine, the partner acting as the “flyer” performs more acrobatic moves while their partner, who acts as the “base,” helps by being their grounded support.

While acroyoga might not be the ideal workout for everyone, it sure is entrancing to watch.

It’s quite beautiful to observe the slow and organic pace this pair takes as they attempt an assortment of different poses. These poses require a lot of endurance, while testing one’s own leg and arm strength.

Acroyoga is definitely an impressive mental and physical practice that these two make look like a piece of cake.
