At Elephant Nature Park, it’s a pretty normal day in the life of baby elephant Henry Mancini. They say he is the clumsy one here, but I think he is just having fun!
Elephant Nature Park is a reserve in Northern Thailand that seeks to rehabilitate elephants. These elephants can grow up happily and freely at the reserve, and it’s no different for little Henry! In the below video, this baby elephant is doing his daily walk around the land when he stumbles upon a log that he just can’t wait to climb up on. As soon as he lays eyes on this log, he tries so hard to get on top of it, but he just can’t seem to find the right footing to keep his balance. He then resorts to approaching the log at the side by laying over it, but finds himself slipping off of it each time.
I love this baby elephant’s determination and how he never gives up — until he realizes it’s just more fun playing with the log instead of getting on top and staying there. How adorable!
This kind of brings me back to being a child, and the things I would find that I thought were so entertaining at the time! I don’t know about you, but this video just brought the biggest smile to my face. I love this!
