The Philadelphia Zoo is celebrating the debut of four new lion cubs. The adorable babies made their debut this week, alongside their proud mama, Makini.
The healthy cubs are adjusting nicely to their new home at First Niagara Big Cat Falls. The sweet cats started exploring and playing together. They're so adorable, you almost forget they're wild animals.
According to the zoo, the cubs only remain outside for a few hours every day, at their keeper's discretion. The lions are under great care at the zoo, where they're part of a conservation project to save the African lion species. The lions are listed as a species very vulnerable to extinction in the wild.
