Airbus Impresses Investors! Risks $1.5 Billion Dollars With THIS Crazy Airplane Stunt

This video comes directly from Airbus. It seems the company wanted to prove to investors, and to the public, that their planes were so reliable that they didn't mind risking them with some crazy stunt formations.

For a fighter jet or more maneuverable aircraft, these tricks and formations would be a cakewalk. But when you're in the cockpit of a 200-foot A350 passenger jet, these stomach-churning maneuvers are a bit harder to pull off.

With each jet being sold for a hefty $300 million, this short film was playing with approximately $1.5 billion worth of equipment! This tenacity has a certain Howard Hughes feel to it — putting so much on the line to make an impressive point! And that's exactly what Airbus did.

Imagine you booked a trip on United Airlines or Delta: You're flying at cruising altitude, everything is quiet and calm, you smile as the attendants offer you a salty meal. "This is going to be a great vacation!" you think to yourself. Tahiti, the Bahamas, Sandals, or Florida — anywhere tropical. You're going to go scuba diving and catch some sunlight while sipping some margaritas, everything is going to be calm.

Suddenly, your plane banks 50 degrees to the right. The Earth is in full view as you feel the G-force crushing you down in your seat. The plane is pulling up fast now as you hear the engines kick into overdrive. The captain gets on the speaker and all you can hear is his maniacal laughter! At least you saw this video — at least you know these awesome new planes can take that kind of stress without exploding into thousands of little pieces.

It's definitely weird watching this video: It just seems so out of place. Everyone is used to seeing F-16s flying in diamond formation, but twin engine passenger liners? It's crazy-looking! Who knew that these huge planes could make crazy moves like that?!
