Next time you think your husband does something he thinks is "funny," just be thankful you aren't Rayena Wesson.
Rayena, a nurse, was working the night shift when she received a series of alarming texts from her husband about their young son's hair.
Before you panic, don't worry. Dad Bobby Wesson was just pulling an elaborate prank on his wife in honor of April Fool's Day.
Much like the mom who tricked her hubby into believing she had adopted a pet coyote, Bobby's goal was to fool his wife into thinking he had accidentally done something truly disastrous to their son, Deacon's, hair.
Using a little Photoshop magic, he spent weeks crafting the perfect prank to totally freak out his wife. When April 1 rolled around, he made sure that it was a quiet night at the hospital, then unleashed his alarming texts for an epic prank.
We don't want to give away the surprise, but let's just say we're all seriously grateful that most husbands stick to bad puns. Orange you glad you aren't married to this guy?

Dad Bobby Wesson made a serious impact on the internet this week after successfully convincing his wife that he had given their son the most disastrous hair cut known to man.
He painstakingly crafted a whole heap of photographic "evidence,"' then sent it to his wife, Rayena, at work. Predictably, outrage and hilarity ensued!
His prank, pulled in honor of April Fool's Day, also became a major online sensation, with 170,000 shares on Facebook, 18,000 reactions, and 30,000 comments applauding his daring-do.

It starts off pretty mild, with Bobby testing the waters.
Rayena works as a nurse, so he wanted to make sure that it was a quiet night at the hospital and that he wouldn't be distracting her from her job. Safety first!
Once she confirms that her night is looking relatively calm, he launches in with the seemingly innocent query: "Can we reschedule those pictures?"
The Dessons had scheduled professional portraits for their young son, Deacon.
In other words, now would not be a good time for Deacon to have a hair disaster.
Rayena is by now getting suspicious, so Bobby goes full speed ahead and reveals what "happened" to their son in an alarming photo message.
The picture shows Bobby and Deacon lounging on the couch, only there's something noticeably wrong with Deacon's part.
Instead of a full mane of hair, Deacon has a dramatic bald strip down the middle of his head. It's just photo fakery, but Rayena doesn't know that.
Understandably, Mom starts to lose her cool.
"WHAT THE [EXPLETIVE] PICK UP THE PHONE."
Bobby explains that there was a mishap with the clippers. He left the clippers plugged in while he was trimming his own beard, and Deacon managed to get them and skim off a sizable chunk of his own locks.
Rayena is not comforted by the explanation. "Omg if you don't answer the phone I'm going to leave my patients and kill you."
Rayena is seriously upset, writing, "Omg my baby, my sweet baby looks like a potato," after Bobby sends another picture.
Bobby doesn't take the hint, he just doubles down on the prank. Where most husbands might have lost their nerve, Bobby leans in.
He explains that Deacon is devastated after seeing himself in the mirror, and that he's hiding under the covers.
"He is inconsolable baby, what should I do?"
At this point, Bobby introduces the master stroke of his plan. He tells Rayena that he's going to shave his own hair so Deacon feels better.
"He's sooo sad. I think he'd feel better if I shaved my head too. Say goodbye to it. He won't stop crying. Gotta do it."
Rayena, already on edge, texts back: "DO NOT SHAVE YOUR HEAD…I swear to God Bobby."
It's too late. The next picture she gets is her two newly-bald men. Her words are poignant.
"[WTF] HAVE YOU DONE."
We really can't blame her; they really do look like a pair of spuds.
Up close, you can tell that it's Photoshopped, but in the moment, we're sure that Rayena was more focused on freaking out over the new aesthetic taking over her family.
She writes, "IT LOOKS LIKE YOU CUT MY BABY'S HAIR WITH A WEEDEATER. and you omg your hair why Bobby I don't know why why why why omg why."
Bobby calmly responds, "It will grow back."
Mom, at the end of her rope, retorts, "Your head won't. I'm going [expletive] knock it off."
Rayena asserts that she's going to leave work and come home. At this point, Bobby knows that jig is up and jumps in to stop her from tearing out of the hospital in panic mode.
"Baby don't," he writes, "Wait."
He immediately sends a couple of undoctored photos for proof, showing both Dad and Deacon with every hair in place.
Rayena, after the emotional rollercoaster of his previous texts, takes some convincing.
Needless to say, even after the prank is revealed, Rayena is not too pleased, writing:
"One day I'm gonna have to tell my bunk mate in prison I'm doing life [because] my dumb [expletive] husband thought he was funny."
Said husband responds, "Love u baby."
Rayena threatens revenge: "Ur gonna pay ooooooomg u just wait."
Honestly, these two seem to have a pretty good shared sense of humor, so we can't wait to see what Rayena cooks up to get back at Bobby.
